Rick Zavala has 25 years of construction experience dealing with all aspects of commercial and residential construction. He graduated in 1989 from St. Xavier University with a B.A. in business administration. From 1991 to 2001, Rick owned his own business which was a land development, commercial, retail projects and industrial construction company. From 2001 – 2006, Rick worked as a senior site superintendent for HDG traveling across the US completing projects from 1,000 sq.ft. to 30,000 sq.ft. and was considered one of the top people in his field.
From 2007 – 2013 Rick took a position with one of our clients as the director of construction where his job responsibilities were site location, lease negotiations, contract administration, as well as the day to day management of all construction projects throughout the US. Having rejoined HDG in 2014 as a project manager, Rick has been instrumental in opening up a western US office for HDG to keep up with the demanding needs of our customers. His responsibilities include project acquisition, day to day construction, budgets and estimating, and sales and marketing.
