Objective - Create an environment that represents Motorola's global market that would serve as a host to both domestic and foreign business leaders that attend conferences at the Schaumburg facility. The focus was to create spaces that would adapt to the wide variety of business seminars, events and educational programs.
An international format, utilizing warm woods, interesting architectural elements and stylized, yet functional furniture. Motorola's "Windows to the World" are small window type vitrines in the main seating area, showcasing Motorola's global business relationships. The conference table and visitor-seating designs are the combination of communication and comfort by the use of texture and high impact shapes complementing the existing lines of the space. HDG won the Milliken Phoenix Award for interior carpet design.
